All Because of Soda

Devynn decided she wanted a soda today, so she got out a 2 liter of Pepsi from the fridge and asked me to pour her some. I told her that soda isn't healthy and I didn't want her drinking any right now. After getting upset, she put the bottle away and quickly disappeared into the garage. She came back carrying a can of Diet Coke she got out of the other fridge and asked me to open it. I again told her that soda isn't healthy and I didn't want her having any. She wasn't very happy with me at this point. She told me

"Soda IS healthy for kids, just not for grown ups!"

As she continued to melt down, she cried about how mean I am.

Yes, I know, I'm such a mean mom. ;)

Then she said, to no one in particular,

"I want to get rid of mommy!"

Aww, my little sweetheart at her finest. :)

I have to laugh thinking about it. For those of you that know Devynn, could you imagine if I ever tried to leave or decided to go away for awhile?! She would go ballistic! I kind of want to pretend for a little bit that she is getting her wish and a new mommy is coming in to replace me. Wouldn't that be funny to videotape her reaction?

Ok, maybe I am a little bit mean. ;)
